{"id":1827,"date":"2023-08-09T15:28:58","date_gmt":"2023-08-09T22:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/safecarebc.ca\/?post_type=service&#038;p=1827"},"modified":"2024-09-16T10:15:21","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T17:15:21","slug":"provincial-violence-prevention-curriculum","status":"publish","type":"service","link":"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/?service=provincial-violence-prevention-curriculum","title":{"rendered":"Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GENERAL INFORMATION<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Injuries arising from acts of violence or aggression are the second-most common injury&nbsp;type&nbsp;among continuing care workers.&nbsp;Learn how to prevent and de-escalate potentially violent situations in the workplace, and how you can protect yourself in a behavioural emergency,&nbsp;with the Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum workshop.&nbsp;The Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum is recognized as best-practice in violence prevention training for health care workers.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>COURSE DESCRIPTION<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SafeCare BC&nbsp;offers&nbsp;Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum&nbsp;train-the-trainer workshops to&nbsp;enhance&nbsp;the training capacity within&nbsp;the continuing care sector.&nbsp;This four-day course provides participants with the skillset to facilitate the&nbsp;eight-hour Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum Workshop.
