It outlines the steps in a risk assessment and details completing a job hazard analysis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Managing risk includes identifying hazards, assessing the risk and deciding on control measures to eliminate or minimize the risk.&nbsp;When identifying hazards, it\u2019s essential to look for all the conditions and situations that could harm your workers or workers on your sites, such as contractors or contracted service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Risk Assessment is the overall process of hazard identification, risk analysis and risk evaluation and includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hazard Identification which is the process of finding, listing and characterizing hazards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessing the degree of risk of injury or illness for the hazards that have been identified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Determining and implementing measures to eliminate or control those hazards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Managing risk includes identifying hazards, assessing the risk, and deciding on control measures to eliminate or minimize the risk.
