Continuous medical masking by healthcare workers, visitors, contractors, and volunteers is no longer required in patient care areas in healthcare facilities, programs, and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What this means for you:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhanced respiratory measures (such as universal masking) are no longer mandated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standard infection prevention and control (IPC) practices remain in place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizations are encouraged to maintain ongoing vigilance and support staff in practicing good hand hygiene, staying home when sick, and following routine protocols to prevent the spread of viruses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The standard that requires
