{"id":3136,"date":"2024-01-11T16:35:13","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T00:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/safecarebc.ca\/?p=3136"},"modified":"2024-01-26T12:03:23","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T20:03:23","slug":"safety-den-is-back-with-a-new-format-and-an-even-bigger-prize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/?p=3136","title":{"rendered":"Safety Den is back\u2014with a new format and an even bigger prize"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Safety Den\u2014our annual Dragons\u2019 Den-inspired event\u2014is back, and this year, we\u2019re changing things up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re not just going to put your ideas on stage, we\u2019re going to put them up on the big screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Safety Den is a celebration of innovation in healthcare, showcasing ideas from people like you who are passionate about improving workplace health and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your submission is selected, you\u2019ll be invited to Whistler for a chance to impress the competition\u2019s judges\u2014the safety dragons\u2014and <strong>win the top prize of $2,000. That\u2019s double the amount of last year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are selected as a finalist in the healthcare category, we will work with you to produce a video to be played at the event. And don\u2019t worry, we\u2019ll handle the filming and editing\u2014you only need to show off your idea!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After your video, you\u2019ll have to answer to the safety dragons\u2019 questions. Don\u2019t worry, they don\u2019t breathe fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It\u2019s easy to participate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit your idea using our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.safecarebc.ca\/safety-den-submissions-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> online form<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give us time to review all the submissions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u2019re one of the three finalists, do a fist pump and high-five your colleagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrange a time for us to come film<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Answer the dragons\u2019 questions and win the cash prize!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The deadline to submit is April 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re happy to help you with your submission.
