It was a busy year for us. We developed new courses\u2014like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.safecarebclearningspace.ca\/the-working-mind-for-employees.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Working Mind<\/a>\u2014launched new initiatives\u2014such as <a href=\"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/topics\/violence-prevention\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">12 Months of Safety<\/a>\u2014and most importantly, we had some amazing opportunities to connect with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were fortunate to meet and celebrate with over 500 of you during October\u2019s<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heartsandhands.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Hearts and Hands<\/a> conferences. At <a href=\"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/safety-den\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Safety Den<\/a>, we showcased ideas and innovations from three fantastic organizations: The Gardens at Qualicum Beach, Eden Gardens, and Sienna Senior Living. Hosting our first Leadership Forum gave us an opportunity to connect with managers and leaders in the sector. Seeing your passion for your work is incredibly motivating and serves as a reminder for why we do what we do.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are <em>your <\/em>health and safety association. We are dedicated to addressing the challenges you face in your workplace. Whether that\u2019s through new mental health resources such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/resources\/toolkits\/civility-matters-toolkit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Civility Matters Toolkit<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/careforcaregivers.ca\/podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Care2Listen podcast<\/a>, continuing initiatives like <a href=\"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/events\/support-services-appreciation-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Support Services Appreciation Day<\/a>, or giving direct support through our <a href=\"https:\/\/scbcdev.safecarebc.ca\/service\/top\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tailored Outreach Program (TOP)<\/a>, know that we\u2019re here for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we enter 2024, we will continue our mission to support safe and injury-free workplaces. We have some exciting new projects in the works, and we can\u2019t wait to share them with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Happy holidays from the SafeCare BC team.
