The layers of fresh snow \u2013 while beautiful to look at \u2013 bring about new obstacles for workers in the continuing care sector. With roads and sidewalks covered by ice sheets and deep snow, just getting to work can be challenging. Road Safety at Work has prepared tips to stay safe during the winter for those who drive to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the most treacherous winter conditions, going to work is not an option for some workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">St. Michael\u2019s Centre CEO, Arif Padamshi, says working together on days like today is key to ensuring everyone stays safe and healthy. For St. Michael\u2019s, this includes taking care of the staff members who couldn\u2019t leave the care home to go home after their shifts due to the weather \u2013 to help, St.Michael\u2019s is providing its staff members with meals.
