This week, we learn more about him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q: What do you like most about teaching?<\/strong><br>A: I love the moments during a workshop when participants have an \u201caha moment.\u201d It becomes obvious that the participants understand a concept or have learned a skill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q: Why are you passionate about SafeCare BC programs and workshops?<\/strong><br>A: I believe strongly that workers have a right to be safe at work, and SafeCare BC helps achieve this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q: How would you describe your teaching style?<\/strong><br>A: When I teach, I try to encourage participation and discussion rather than lecturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q: Where do you draw your inspiration from?<\/strong><br>A: I get inspired by the workshops. In the end, participants come to me and tell me they have learned new skills and concepts to help them be safer at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q: What do you hope participants get out of your workshops?<\/strong><br>A: Of course, I want them to learn new skills and concepts related to their work, but I also hope they learn skills that will help them in everyday life, such as respectful communication and giving feedback.<br><strong>Q: Is there an expectation that participants will share knowledge from the workshop?<br><\/strong>A: I hope the participants share their knowledge with their co-workers. This is especially true for the Safe Resident and Safe Client Handling Peer Coach workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time when not facilitating?<\/strong><br>A: I enjoy hiking, gardening, playing soccer, cooking, and travel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clemens Braun has been a SafeCare BC workshop facilitator for the past two years.
