Three finalists from two categories\u2014healthcare and commercial\u2014pitched their health and safety ideas to the Safety Dragons: David Hurford, Kerry Bowman, and Terry Lake. Here are the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sidney Care Home \u2013 First Place<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sidney Care Home took home the top prize in the Healthcare category. Their nautical-themed&nbsp;<em>Sailing for Safety<\/em>&nbsp;initiative impressed the Safety Dragons with its creativity and simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed to encourage staff to participate in education and training,&nbsp;<em>Sailing for Safety<\/em>&nbsp;blends education and entertainment\u2014and that\u2019s what Safety Den is all about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eden Gardens - Second Place<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A familiar spot for the Safety Den veterans, Eden Gardens once again took second place in the competition. That\u2019s where Nikkei Home comes in with their&nbsp;<em>Safety Flash Cards.&nbsp;<\/em>Their submission aims to streamline the process by using flashcards for concise learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their entry earned them a spot in the top three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dexterra Group Inc. \u2013 Safety Innovation of the Year Award<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a brief hiatus, the Commercial Category returned this year, with Dexterra Group Inc. taking home the Safety Innovation of the Year Award.
