Is your health and safety committee in need of some love?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 63% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed that their organization\u2019s occupational health and safety committee is effective at addressing health and safety concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If that\u2019s your organization, give your colleagues a high-five. But don\u2019t get complacent, because there\u2019s more you can do to stay great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If your organization is in the 37% that thinks your safety committee\u2026well, there\u2019s probably lots of words you could use, but let\u2019s agree there\u2019s room for improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Don\u2019t worry, we got you. She loves occupational health and safety committees and is waiting to help your committee become great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Focus on mental wellness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mental health and well-being of staff was the top health and safety concern for 54% of respondents and by a huge margin, psychological health and safety was the topic most people wanted to learn more about it. You\u2019re probably not surprised by that, and neither are we. Your work is rewarding, but it\u2019s physically and mentally demanding. And unfortunately, we hear that the environment in some workplaces isn\u2019t as civil as it should be. We\u2019ve got your back and some great resources to help you and your colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
